  1. Start each meal with a little digestive ‘stimulation’.
    Improving your gut issues often requires a top down approach.  You can improve digestion by starting each meal with a little extra help.  Start by sipping on some lemon juice and water (make it tart!) or by taking an acid supplement like (betaine hydrochloride) at the beginning of your meal.

  2. Avoid drinking too much water with your meals.
    Don’t drink more than 100ml of water with your meals.  Too much water with meals can lead to excessive bloating.

  3. Avoid tea or coffee and carbonated drinks with your meals
    These drinks reduce your ability to properly digest your meals and will likely lead to bloating.

  4. Keep your meals regular.
    Having a regular meal pattern can be just as important as eating a healthy balanced diet. Avoid eating late at night, sit down to eat and chew your food well.
